Obama's Approval Falls While The Tea Party Movement's Rises

A new poll shows just 44% of registered voters approve of the job President Obama is doing. That's down from 46 % in December. (source) Evidently his strong rhetoric about not giving up on health care reform, cap & trade and even more deficit raising government spending is not sitting well with the American people.

Surprise (to some)! Abstinence education actually works. According to a new University of Pennsylvania study published in The Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, abstinence only education helps to prevent teen pregnancy even if it does not include a religious message. The study showed that 33 percent of sixth and seventh graders who took an abstinence-only course had sex within two years of the course compared to 52 percent who were taught only "safer sex" and 42 percent who were taught both abstinence and safer sex. (source) But there's always another day and another contradiction from Mr. Obama.

While the daily briefing with White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was cancelled due to the storm, it didn't stop Mr. Obama from speaking to party activists at the winter meeting of the Democratic National Committee. Spending Millions To Inform The Intentionally Uninformed

Move over Dorrito-chomping super models and Budweiser horses, the latest buyer of outrageously expensive Super Bowl advertising time is the US Government. Washington is spending $2.5 million in an attempt to encourage Americans to participate in the census and that's just a small percentage of the whopping $133 million the entire census ad campaign will cost.
