Obama May Be Talking The Talk

President Obama addressed the nation again Thursday regarding the Christmas Day terrorist attack on Flight 253. He made the speech under the guise that he had new information to share: supposedly the results of reviews and announcements of new strategies. Of course there was no such new information. As with every public statement (or lack thereof) since the attack occurred, he just keeps trying new rhetoric in a desperate struggle to hopefully stumble on the right approach. Abdul Mutallab, a 23 year old Nigerian claiming he was acting on al Qaida's instructions set off an explosive device on Christmas day on a plane traveling between Nigeria and Detroit. That attempt to murder over 270 people on Delta's Flight 253 was thwarted when one passenger jumped over others to subdue the man. Shortly afterward, the suspect was taken to a front row seat with his pants cut off and his legs burned.

Following a second nuclear weapon test, restarting its weapons-grade nuclear plant in Yongbyon, and test firing multiple missiles; the world has once again focused its attention on North Korea.
An official member of the "Axis of Evil", North Korea is perhaps the last Soviet-style communist regime still in existence. In the last fifteen years, the "dear leader" Kim Jung-Il has done little for his countrymen. Starvation, mandatory labor, poverty, forced abortions and power shortages are just a handful of the issues that the DPRK currently has to contend with.
