It's Diverse Tea Time
By Carole on Sep 13, 2010
FreedomWorks has released a new media campaign to highlight diversity in the Tea Party Movement. Called Diverse Tea, the campaign includes a website and a newspaper ad that reads in part, "We are black, brown, and white. We are Jew and gentile. We are from different communities, various backgrounds, and all races, colors, and creeds. We will Take America Back, not from Democrats or Republicans, but from an arrogant political class that puts its interests before those of all Americans."
Obama Pitting Americans Against Americans
By Carole on Jul 24, 2010
As if we needed any more proof that President Barack Obama wants to divide the American people, we got it today in his video message to the annual Netroots Nation convention. In the message, the president urged liberal activists and bloggers to "keep up the fight" to bring change to Washington. (source) Notice he did not urge them to keep the faith or to keep working for his idea of change or to keep spreading their shared message. No, he told them to "keep up the fight" which begs the question, who are President Obama and his far-left minions fighting against?
Obama's Approval Falls While The Tea Party Movement's Rises
By Carole on Feb 8, 2010
A new poll shows just 44% of registered voters approve of the job President Obama is doing. That's down from 46 % in December. (source) Evidently his strong rhetoric about not giving up on health care reform, cap & trade and even more deficit raising government spending is not sitting well with the American people.
Obama Administration Continues To Ignore Reality
By Carole on Sep 12, 2009
As I type this it is early afternoon on Saturday and hundreds of thousands of people fed up with out-of-control government spending are protesting in Washington D.C. The tea party movement is holding its largest event yet - the line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the Capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. (source) But when asked to comment on the protest this morning, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters with a shrug, "I don't know who the group is." (source)
