The political future for those named Reid and running for office in Nevada looks very bleak indeed. In the latest Mason-Dixon poll, Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) is trailing his most likely general election opponent, former chairman of the Nevada Republican Party Sue Lowden, by a 46% to 38% margin. (source) The senator's son, gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid (D), is far behind his likely Republican opponent, former federal judge Brian Sandoval, by 15 points (50% to 35%). (source)

Questions are beginning to swirl around Tea Party Candidate Jon Scott Ashjian and his campaign for the senate seat currently held by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada). Nevada Republicans are expressing concern that Mr. Ashjian was put in the race by agents of Senator Reid to steal votes from the GOP and improve the currently dim chances of a Reid re-election.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) started the day the way he has for months; as one of the driving forces pushing the hugely unpopular and obscenely expensive Obamacare bill through the legislative process. Then he took a break to address the issue that the American people actually care about: jobs. That should have made his day a little brighter, right? Not exactly.
