Obama Tries To Stick Others With His Bill
By Carole on Sep 19, 2011
As promised, President Barack Obama proposed his $1.5 trillion dollar tax hike today; an attempt to send the bill for his own failures to those who have managed to succeed despite the dismal economy. He also promised to veto any debt-reduction legislation that cuts benefits while failing to include higher taxes on the wealthy.
Take It To Us, Mr. President!

The latest meeting between President Barack Obama and lawmakers regarding the nation's debt ended without any progress on a deal and a new level of animosity between those involved. According to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Virginia), "The president told me, ‘Eric, don’t call my bluff. You know I’m going to take this to the American people. He then walked out." Evidently the president believes with a few more 'yes we cans' and 'eat our peas' from him, we will support a deal that serves his own political agenda but does a huge disservice to the country.
Is Obama Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says we must raise the nation's debt ceiling or risk an economic catastrophe. President Obama and most Congressional Democrats agree. Many private sector financial experts insist the debt ceiling should not be raised until major spending cuts are made. Most Congressional Republicans agree with that. For the tiebreaker, let's go to the American people. But a new poll did just that and the results show they don't seem to be taking the issue all that seriously.
Shades Of Conservative Government To Come?
By Carole on Feb 12, 2010
In his inaugural address last month, newly elected New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said, "The era of runaway spending and higher and higher taxes has not worked...Together, we can build a stronger economy. Yes, we will have to cut some programs and transform others to get our budget in balance. Yes, we will have to curb spending in municipal governments where there has been too little control. Yes, we will have to restrain State government, even as we invest to be prepared for the economic competition ahead. But we can do these things - and once again be a home for growth". (source) On Thursday he delivered and gave the entire nation a preview of what fiscally responsible leadership can accomplish.
