By Carole on Aug 13, 2010 | 1 comment »
It's official. The 32-year-old unemployed man representing the Democratic Party in South Carolina's US Senate race has been indicted. Alvin Greene; the young, virtually unknown Democratic candidate for the United States Senate from South Carolina, made his first major public speech today. The official investigation into how Alvin Greene, the Democratic Senate Candidate from South Carolina, came up with the $10,440 needed to get on the primary ballot has ended with the announcement that charges will not be filed. South Carolina Democrats' latest attempt to undermine their own primary winner has fizzled before it ever really got going. Just a week after 32 year old, unemployed and politically unknown Alvin Greene won the party's nomination to challenge incumbent Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) in November; supporters of Democrat Linda Ketner began mounting an effort to get her name on the ballot as an Independent. Today that effort ended.
Graham Claims Tea Party Is Unsustainable

In a recent interview, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) declared that the Tea Party movement is unsustainable and will eventually "die out." What the senator fails to realize (or at least won't admit publicly) is that successful grassroots efforts such as the Tea Party movement end when their goal has been achieved and it is the political careers of so-called moderate Republicans such as Senator Graham that are unsustainable.
