Former Navy Secretary Picks Toomey Over Sestak

Democratic Senate candidate Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) has been doing his best to hide from his own liberal record in Congress. Hoping voters will forget his two terms in the US House of Representatives during which he voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) 97% of the time, Congressman Sestak has produced campaign ads highlighting only his service in the US Navy and giving the false impression that he has gone directly from his military career to his current run for the Senate.
Gulf Coast Restoration Just Another Empty Promise?

According to the Obama administration, formulating a long-term Gulf Coast restoration plan can be done in someone's spare time. And all the duties of the Secretary of the Navy can be accomplished in less time than it takes the average person to do their full-time job. That's the message coming from the White House in response to complaints that current Navy Secretary and former Mississippi Governor Ray Mabus will keep his current position even after President Barack Obama chose him to develop that restoration plan.
Sestak Bribery Questions Remain Unanswered

Appearing on a televised news program in mid-February, US Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) was asked if the Obama administration offered him a high-ranking federal job in exchange for dropping his primary challenge to Senator Arlen Specter. Representative Sestak said yes. Three months and a primary win later; he is still saying it happened but is refusing to provide details of the crime and, if it happened, it most certainly was a crime.
