From the beginning, the Obama administration's way of dealing with criticism of the president's policies and decisions has been to claim that whoever is criticizing is just too ignorant to understand how brilliant President Obama is. It didn't matter whether it was the majority of the American people or political opponents, the counter attack was always the same. Now the tactic is spreading to his own supporters.
Djou Expands Hawaiian Special Election Lead

Republican Charles Djou has increased his lead in Hawaii's First Congressional District with less than three weeks before the mail-in, winner-take-all special election. In a new poll, Honolulu City Councilman Djou leads with 36% while former Congressman Ed Case (D) has 28% and state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa (D) trails the pack with 22%. 13% remain undecided. President Barack Obama's approval rating has dropped to an all-time low of 44% according to the latest Quinnipiac Poll released this morning. (source) But even though his numbers have dropped since signing his unpopular health care reform bill and the political future of his policy looks bleak, the president and his accomplices plan to push ahead with the far-left agenda the American people obviously do not want.

Right below the latest news on reality TV show Project Runway, a website that claims to contain "gossip from Manhattan and the Beltway to Hollywood and the Valley" is claiming there's a scandal in the past of newly minted Republican Senator from Massachusetts Scott Brown. Gawker.com has dug up a civil defamation suit against then State Representative Brown alleging he harassed a woman named Jennifer Firth when she worked on his campaign in 1998. (source)

While calling for more civility and bipartisanship, President Obama is bastardizing the legislative process in a strong armed attempt to ram through Obamacare despite the will of the American people. Before his televised health care summit with congressional Republicans next week, Mr. Obama will publish his own health care plan as a privileged budget reconciliation bill according to a senior congressional aide.
