Obama's Bounce Goes Bust

President Barack Obama's anticipated approval rating bounce after passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare) has gone bust. Already disappointing for the Obama machine was the smaller than expected size of the bounce, but even that has been washed away during the days since the bill was signed.

When it comes to judging President Obama's fist year in office, the American people have a much different view than the president himself. In an interview with his loyal supporter Oprah Winfrey, Mr. Obama gives himself a "good, solid B-plus." Meanwhile in the latest poll, only 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. (source)

According to the latest poll, only 45% of voters at least somewhat approve of President Obama's jon performance. (source) That's down from 47% just days ago and shows no sign of reversing the downward spiral.
Obamacare: Like It Or Not Here It Comes

The more the Democrats push their idea of health care reform, the more Americans push back against it. The latest Rasmussen poll shows that just 38% of voters now favor the health care plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats. Half of the poll was conducted after the Senate's Saturday night vote to bring the Obamacare bill to the floor for debate. Interestingly support for the plan was slightly lower in that half. (source)

As his cronies in the Senate keep scrambling to push Obamacare through the next legislative hurdle, there's further proof that the American people just aren't buying what President Obama keeps trying to sell. Gallup Daily tracking from Nov. 17-19 shows President Barack Obama’s job approval slipping to 49% for the first time in his presidency. (source) Why the dip? Take your pick of reasons:
