Obama's Not Even Pretending Anymore
By Carole on Sep 18, 2011
It's official. Barack Obama has given up even pretending to be the President of the United States and is singularly focused on being a presidential candidate. His American Jobs Act turned out to be $447 billion worth of short term projects and gimmicks that even many of his fellow Democrats can't support. Now he's proposing to raise taxes on almost half a million wealthy Americans; an attempt to fan the flames of class warfare that may temporarily appease his base but, if implemented, would do serious damage to an already dismal economy.
The Never Ending Obama Campaign

President Barack Obama still won't tell the truth about which calamity he's trying to head off in the debt ceiling negotiations. In his third press conference in two weeks, he tried once again to convince the American people that he is fighting against a catastrophic default. The problem for Mr. Obama is it won't head off the impending crisis for his political career.
Obama And His Priorities Hit The Road

President Barack Obama is squeezing some time in between vacations to do some major political fundraising this week. Further proof that President Obama's #1 priority is politics, he will be returning to New Jersey next weekend for two more campaign events on behalf of Governor Jon Corzine's (D) bid for re-election. Still no decision on troop levels in Afghanistan, the Taliban and Al-Qaida are growing more emboldened, the latest health care reform bill in the House has exceeded $1 trillion in costs, the unemployment rate is still dangerously close to 10% and what is our president doing? He’s stumping for a very unpopular incumbent in the desperate hope of keeping his own party members in line. (source)
