Obama's Ridiculously Small Idea
By Carole on Jan 13, 2012
This morning President Barack Obama stood before the cameras in an election-year attempt to claim he wants to shrink the size of the federal government and lower spending. According to the administration, his new proposal to merge six trade and commerce agencies would save $3 billion over the next 10 years and eliminate 1,000 to 2,000 jobs. Great headline unless you consider that since taking office, Mr. Obama has increased the federal workforce (excluding Census and Postal workers) by 7%; adding more than 144,000 to the federal payroll.
Congress Just A Campaign Tool To Obama
By Carole on Oct 21, 2011
According to a new poll, almost 70% of Americans think Congress has done nothing to address the problems facing America. One major reason for that might be President Barack Obama and his congressional cronies are using the legislative process as a campaign tool.
Obamacare And Reality Collide
By Carole on Oct 14, 2011
In an obvious effort to protect Candidate Obama from one of many blistering and justifiable attacks over Obamacare, President Barack Obama is undelivering on one of the few promises he actually kept. After winning over many voters with the promise of cradle to grave government provided health care, the administration is abandoning its long-term care insurance program admitting it is not and cannot be financially viable.
A Bridge Between Two Speeches

President Barack Obama hit another American city today claiming to care about the nation's unemployment crisis but showing his real concern is for his own political future. His chosen backdrop of the Brent Spence Bridge which links Ohio and Kentucky was the perfect setting for an attack against two of his political opponents House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky). But his usual mixture of sarcasm and lies were no match for the truth Senator McConnell ably delivered from the Senate floor.
Obama's Not Even Pretending Anymore
By Carole on Sep 18, 2011
It's official. Barack Obama has given up even pretending to be the President of the United States and is singularly focused on being a presidential candidate. His American Jobs Act turned out to be $447 billion worth of short term projects and gimmicks that even many of his fellow Democrats can't support. Now he's proposing to raise taxes on almost half a million wealthy Americans; an attempt to fan the flames of class warfare that may temporarily appease his base but, if implemented, would do serious damage to an already dismal economy.
