Marcia, Marcia, Marcia

If anyone still hoped the Kennedy mystique might help Democratic Candidate Martha Coakley win Ted Kennedy's Senate seat , that hope was washed away when the late Senator's son, Representative Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), kept calling her Marcia instead of Martha while telling reporters what a great Senator she'd be.
Worshipping At The Altar Of Obama

Since resigning from controversial Pastor Jeremiah Wright's Trinity United Church during the 2008 campaign, the Obama family has chosen not to attend regular religious services. In fact the first family has attended Sunday services only three times in Washington since the president's inauguration and while they initially said they would find a local church to attend they have cited concerns about crowds and displacing regular worshippers as the reason they have not done so. (source) But on this particular Sunday, President Obama found a worthwhile reason to go to church: he got to make it all about him.

Corzine to Deeds to Coakley. No they aren't the newest double play combination in the majors. They are three Democrats who desperately hoped President Barack Obama could save their failing campaigns by making a last minute joint appearance with them. Corzine and Deeds found out in November that Mr. Obama's political capital is non-transferable. Coakley is about to learn the same thing when the president travels to Massachusetts on Sunday.
Massachusetts Democrats Keep Playing Politics With The Law

Here we go again. Democrats are already trying to delay Republican candidate Scott Brown's being sworn into the US Senate and he hasn't even won Tuesday's special election yet. Massachusetts Secretary of State William F. Galvin (D), citing state law, said city and town clerks must wait at least 10 days for absentee ballots to arrive before they certify the results of the January 19 election. They then have five more days to file the returns with his office. Such a delay could preserve the Democrats' filibuster-proof super majority long enough to pass Obamacare. (source)
Massachusetts Senate Race Is Getting Ugly

The special election campaign in Massachusetts is getting more interesting by the minute. What was supposed to be an easy win for the Democrat, state Attorney General Martha Coakley, in the race to fill Ted Kennedy's Senate seat is getting tighter and uglier.
