Corzine Playing Obama's Blame Game
By Carole on Dec 8, 2011
Former US Senator and New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine will testify before a House panel today to explain how MF Global, the firm he led for over a year and a half, collapsed and now can't account for $1.2 billion in client funds. Taking a page from the playbook of his political ally President Barack Obama, Mr. Corzine is expected to blame his predecessors and others rather than admit to his own failures.
Obama To "Help" Blumenthal In Connecticut
By Carole on Sep 4, 2010
While many Democratic candidates are finding reasons not to be in the same city with President Barack Obama let alone on the same stage, Connecticut Attorney General and US Senate Candidate Richard Blumenthal is just desperate enough to accept the president's brand of toxic help. Mr. Obama will travel to the Nutmeg State on September 16 to campaign with Mr. Blumenthal before attending a DNC fundraiser. Considering Mr. Blumenthal's lead over Republican Linda McMahon has plummeted from a robust 30 points earlier this year to a much slimmer 7 point margin, can the Obama Curse make things any worse?
The Hooker Maneuver
By Carole on Mar 15, 2010
It's gotten tougher for the administration to bribe House members into voting for Obamacare against the will of the American people. Even the mainstream media has picked up on President Obama's Federal Judgeships for Brothers Program and it would be nearly impossible to slip another Cornhusker Kickback or Louisiana Purchase past the voters. So what’s next? Like many desperate people before him, Mr. Obama is resorting to prostitution.
Corzine to Deeds to Coakley
By Carole on Jan 16, 2010
Corzine to Deeds to Coakley. No they aren't the newest double play combination in the majors. They are three Democrats who desperately hoped President Barack Obama could save their failing campaigns by making a last minute joint appearance with them. Corzine and Deeds found out in November that Mr. Obama's political capital is non-transferable. Coakley is about to learn the same thing when the president travels to Massachusetts on Sunday.
Corzine Loses Again
By Carole on Dec 2, 2009
Soon-to-be-former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine spent $131 million of his own money on his three political campaigns since he was forced out of his management position at Goldman Sachs. After 9 years in office (first as a Senator then as Governor) the soon-to-be-unemployed Democrat has nothing to show for that fortune except the metaphorical bruises from his recent loss to Governor-elect Republican Chris Christie.
