Time To Put The Brakes On The Obama Agenda

Senator John Thune (R-South Dakota) delivered the Republicans' weekly address today centering on President Barack Obama's compulsive campaigning versus doing his actual job. "The president should spend less time campaigning to save the jobs of Democrats in Congress and more time trying to create jobs for the American people," said the potential 2012 presidential candidate. Ordinarily I'd disagree with the idea that the President of the United States can/should create jobs, but this particular president kept promising he would and therefore deserves to be judged on his failure to keep those promises.
Some Dems Not Even Bothering To Run

With White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs publicly announcing Republicans could gain control of the House of Representatives and less than four months until the elections billed as a referendum on the Obama agenda, the president's party isn't even bothering to put candidates on the ballot in some states.
Democrats Won't Even Try In South Dakota

South Dakota Democrats have failed to find a candidate to challenge Republican Senator John Thune in his bid for a second term this November. Mr. Thune could still have an opponent as Independent candidates have until June to file nominating petitions, but with Democrats failing to meet this week's deadline, Senator Thune is all but assured victory.
