New Stimulus Job Count Is A Stimulus Con Job

As more proof emerges that President Obama's $787 billion dollar stimulus bill is having virtually no effect on the unemployment rate, the administration just keeps changing the definition of the word effect. Remember when "jobs created" suddenly morphed into "jobs created or saved" in order to explain why no jobs were being created by that must-pass-it- immediately legislation? Well now the White House has begun a new way to con the American people into thinking the stimulus is having an effect on jobs.

When President Obama and the Democrats in Congress pushed through their $787 billion stimulus package early last year it was at least remotely possible they really believed it would stimulate the economy and create jobs. But soon after it was rammed through the legislative process the promises of creating jobs became claims of saving them and the 8% unemployment rate the bill was supposed to prevent skyrocketed to over 10%. Now those same Democrats want to squander even more taxpayer money on a phony job-creating bill.
