Change Now Means Not Obama

The trouble with hope and change is that it only works for the unelected. After you get the job you have to provide more than hope, and change is suddenly defined as "not you". Since President Obama took office, each time American voters have gotten the opportunity they have voted for a different kind of change. Yet the president and his fellow Democrats continue to believe that if they just change the wrapping paper, we'll suddenly want what they're offering.
Evidently We Need Better Expecters

An article from Reuters this morning claimed "The number of U.S. workers filing new applications for unemployment insurance unexpectedly surged last week" (source) which begs the question exactly who's doing the expecting? Anyone living outside the government bubble and the ivory towers of academia knows that the job market is not improving and the recovery that President Obama is constantly bragging about has not reached the working (or suddenly not working) class of America.
