Corzine Knows It's Not About Corzine

President Obama attended two rallies on Sunday in support of New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine's bid for re-election. After a speech in which the president said Mr. Corzine was key to Mr. Obama's own agenda, the Governor took the stage to a Stevie Wonder tune (a standard during the Obama campaign) and claimed a victory on Tuesday would help him support the White House, "Today I am standing with President Obama. That tells you everything you need to know." (source)

In these final days of the campaign for the Virginia Governor's office, Democrats have dropped all pretense of the race having anything at all to do with the state of Virginia. Standard procedure at this stage of a modern campaign calls for volunteers to span out to every neighborhood leaving a pamphlet or flyer or some other promotional item at every door. Democrat Creigh Deeds' campaign workers are doing exactly that but the promotional material with which they are papering the state of Virginia barely mentions the actual candidate while prominently featuring the man this election is really about for their party.
Corzine Reveals Another Big Christie Secret

In the latest desperate move by the Corzine campaign (being run by Team Obama), the incumbent governor is running an ad accusing his Republican challenger, conservative Chris Christie, of being (gasp!) a conservative! The ad states that Mr. Christie "doesn't share our values." (source) If by "our values" they mean the tax raising, high spending, deficit exploding, dollar dropping, internationally weakening, military ignoring values of the Obama/Corzine machine, then this could be the second honest statement the Corzine campaign has made in the past year (the first being that the 300+ pound Mr. Christie is overweight).
The Campaigner-In-Chief

Further proof that President Obama's #1 priority is politics, he will be returning to New Jersey next weekend for two more campaign events on behalf of Governor Jon Corzine's (D) bid for re-election. Still no decision on troop levels in Afghanistan, the Taliban and Al-Qaida are growing more emboldened, the latest health care reform bill in the House has exceeded $1 trillion in costs, the unemployment rate is still dangerously close to 10% and what is our president doing? He’s stumping for a very unpopular incumbent in the desperate hope of keeping his own party members in line. (source)
Chris Christie Reveals Big Secret

There are less than three weeks until the New Jersey gubernatorial election. With the entire nation looking to the Garden State to see how the first major election of the Obama era will go, Jon Corzine (D), the incumbent running for re-election is still avoiding discussing his abysmal record or his lack of ideas by resorting to third grade playground taunts about his Republican opponent Chris Christie's weight.
