The endorsements keep coming for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. The pundits who regurgitate all that conventional wisdom keep saying he's the only Republican that can beat President Barack Obama in November. The most commonly stated reason for the pro-Romney push? He can win the all-important Independent vote, but independent voters seem to be saying otherwise.
Perfect Candidates Don't Make Perfect Presidents

Seeing "no viable path forward," Texas Governor Rick Perry has suspended his presidential campaign. With one less conservative candidate in the mix, the GOP primary battle will probably last beyond Saturday's South Carolina contest and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will not be able to secure the nomination too quickly if at all. That's the good news.
