Yet Another Obama Embarrassment
By Carole on Apr 19, 2010

The Jackson Memorial: Who Pays? Who Profits?

It was tough to avoid television coverage of the Michael Jackson Memorial today. Though I wasn't interested in watching, I understand that millions were and so it was broadcasted live on all major networks, cable news channels, etc. Over the past week there have been many debates over the massive amount of coverage Jackson's death has received and the bottom line seems to be...well...the bottom line. If these media outlets stop covering the Jackson story or merely cover it a little less, they will lose millions of viewers who can't seem to get enough.
