No, the person who said these words was not referring to the Obama administration's absurd notion of spending our way out of debt and the lies meant to threaten our most vulnerable citizens. This statement was made by Senator John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) on MSNBC's Morning Joe program and he was talking about stifling the free speech of those associated with the Tea Party Movement.

Last month White House communications director Anita Dunn tried to marginalize the Fox News Channel by claiming it was "not really a news station" and other Obama administration officials echoed the statement. Two months ago President Obama appeared on five of the six Sunday morning talk shows. The one he missed? Fox News Sunday. Late last week Ms. Dunn left her post as White House communications director and today Fox News White House Correspondent Major Garrett will interview the president in Beijing.
