Will Bachmann Endorse Romney?

After his decisive primary win in Florida, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney may start his February with an endorsement that could impress some conservatives. Instead of heading to Nevada or Maine (the next two states to vote), Mr. Romney is headed to Minnesota presumably to pick up the endorsement of tea party favorite Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota).

Several weeks ago extremely influential New York State lawmaker Dov Hikind, who serves with fellow Democrat David Weprin in the State Assembly, announced that he would not endorse Mr. Weprin in his race to replace disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-New York). Now with just days to go before the September 13 special election, Mr. Hikind has announced that he will endorse Mr. Weprin's opponent, Republican Bob Turner, to represent the overwhelmingly Democratic district.
Political Theatre In Rhode Island?

In an election cycle that has Democratic candidates running as far as they can from an unpopular president, Rhode Island's Democratic gubernatorial candidate made a sure to go viral comment today when he didn't get President Barack Obama's endorsement. Democrat Frank Caprio told a local radio station, "He can take his endorsement and really shove it" and went on to criticize Mr. Obama for ignoring Rhode Island's recent floods and "treating us like an ATM machine." So was this a real snub of a fellow Democrat or a well-orchestrated plan to help both Mr. Caprio and the president?

In a take-off on the popular Old Spice Guy commercials, the latest offering from the Miller campaign manages to amuse potential voters, inform them of Mr. Miller's stellar qualifications and remind them that one of his opponents is a certified loser.
