According to Senator John Kerry (D-Massachusetts), the reason his fellow Democrats are facing what could be unprecedented losses in the upcoming mid-term elections is that the majority of voters are uninformed, easily swayed idiots. President Obama keeps talking and talking in favor of his version of health care reform seeming to believe that if he just stumbles onto the right word or gesture he will magically convince the American people (and enough Democrats in Congress) that the legislation they have opposed for a year is suddenly a good thing.

The recent Washington Post headline says it all "Poll shows growing disappointment, polarization over Obama's performance". Exactly one year after he took office, the majority of the American people say President Obama is not delivering on his major campaign promises and over a third say he is falling short of their expectations. (source) This is not a sign of a fickle electorate. This is what happens when millions of people are conned by someone who has no idea how to do the job he has sworn to do.
