Is Obama Indecisive? Well, Yes And No

Last summer started months of what former Vice President Cheney called the Obama administration's dithering over troop levels in Afghanistan. The long delay before President Obama decided to send the additional troops requested by his hand-picked general frustrated many and sent the wrong message to our enemies. He showed a level of decisiveness compatible with that of, to paraphrase former Governor Sarah Palin, a law professor at the lectern not a commander-in-chief. And to paraphrase former President Ronald Reagan, there he goes again.
Afghanistan Needs More Than A Surge Of Words

No matter what President Obama's much anticipated new strategy for the war in Afghanistan is, it won't live up to the hype caused by months of indecisiveness. "No Drama Obama", as he was called during the presidential campaign, has turned the most important part of his job, keeping America safe, into political theater of the absurd. And it's not just his political opponents and the American people who realize it.
