President Alvin Greene?
By Carole on Nov 9, 2010
After winning the Democratic Party's senatorial nomination in South Carolina with little to no effort, Alvin Greene is now considering a 2012 run for the White House. Mr. Greene, who lost his Senate race to incumbent Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina), did manage to garner a primary win, lots of national attention and 28% of the general election votes with nothing more than a "D" after his name so it's not impossible to believe that the donkeys could support him again.
Dems Split In Pennsylvania Senate Race
By Carole on May 15, 2010
Moveon.org and the Obama machine are parting ways, at least with regard to Tuesday's Democratic senate primary in Pennsylvania. Late last week Moveon.org announced its members are supporting Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) while Obama & Company's Organizing for America continues to support incumbent Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania) in his quest for re-election.
Pennsylvania's Specter/Sestak Race Tightens
By Carole on May 3, 2010
Senator Arlen Specter's (D-Pennsylvania) political career may be over even before the November mid-term elections. The death blow to his almost 30 years in the US Senate could come from a Democratic primary challenger because Senator Specter foolishly decided to make the race for the party's nomination about honor and he may just come up short.
Is Lieberman The Exception Or The Rule?
By Carole on Apr 28, 2010
Senator Joe Lieberman (I-Connecticut) has agreed to hold a Greenwich fundraiser for the politically dead man walking, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada). Yes, the same Joe Lieberman who was dumped by the Democratic Party and who then defeated their anti-war candidate as an Independent. The same Joe Lieberman Senator Reid said double crossed him on health care reform just weeks ago. That Joe Lieberman will be trading on his own good name and reputation to help one of President Obama's chief henchmen dip into the deep pockets of Connecticut’s elite. (source)
Obama's Approval Rating Drops Even Lower
By Carole on Jul 19, 2009
The problem most con men face is they can't fool the same mark indefinitely. They either need to move on to other gullible targets or risk being exposed as the lying manipulators they are. Four years is an impossibly long time to keep a con going. Six months seems to be about the limit for President Obama. Even among Democrats his approval rating has slipped in the last month by 10 points and though that still leaves him with 82 percent of his party faithful, his overall approval rating is down to 57 percent.
