Confirmed: Meek Urged To Quit Senate Race
By Carole on Oct 28, 2010
The rumors have been swirling for months and have been denied multiple times but now it has been confirmed there was a plan by Democrats to persuade US Representative Kendrick Meek (D-Florida) to drop out of his Senate race and throw his support behind former Republican Charlie Crist. In the center of this desperate attempt to stave off the election of Republican Marco Rubio is former President Bill Clinton, the same bagman who offered an Obama administration job to Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) if he would drop out of his primary race against Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania).
Crist Wants To 'Crash That Tea Party'
By Carole on Oct 7, 2010

Crist Does It Again
By Carole on Aug 30, 2010
For the third time in one week, Florida Governor and US Senate candidate Charlie Crist has taken two positions on the same issue. Appearing on CNN's State of the Union program today, the no-party-affiliated candidate was asked if he would return campaign contributions given by Republican donors before he abandoned the GOP. Mr. Crist's first response: "we'll give it back to people who had asked for it." But just a moment later he said, "People gave money to a good cause, I'm going to spend it on a good cause and that's how I feel about it." (source)
Even Crist Doesn't Know Where Crist Stands
By Carole on Aug 27, 2010
Florida Governor and US Senate candidate Charlie Crist is finding it more and more difficult to keep his fluctuating positions on the issues straight. While still a Republican he strongly supported the disastrous Obama Stimulus. Once he was assured a loss in the GOP primary he decided to abandon his party but kept its donors' cash. And now amid falling poll numbers, his go-along-to-get-along positions are starting to confuse even him.
