Is There Room For A Cool Conservative?
By Carole on Jul 3, 2011
If you tuned into the 24 hour news channels this weekend, you saw more of the wall-to-wall coverage, in-depth speculation and general sensationalizing of the Casey Anthony trial. But you probably missed the announcement by Representative Thaddeus McCotter (R-Michigan) that he is officially running for president.
Paul's Ideas May Be Too Young
By Carole on Jun 20, 2011
Congressman and perpetual presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Texas) defended his less than mainstream positions and his age today by stating "It's the ideas that count" and "I endorse young ideas." Blumenthal Lied About Serving In Vietnam
By Carole on May 17, 2010
If you've ever wondered why politicians often tell gargantuous lies even though the truth is so easily revealed, you're really going to be scratching your head on this one. By Carole on Oct 24, 2009
Further proof that President Obama's #1 priority is politics, he will be returning to New Jersey next weekend for two more campaign events on behalf of Governor Jon Corzine's (D) bid for re-election. Still no decision on troop levels in Afghanistan, the Taliban and Al-Qaida are growing more emboldened, the latest health care reform bill in the House has exceeded $1 trillion in costs, the unemployment rate is still dangerously close to 10% and what is our president doing? He’s stumping for a very unpopular incumbent in the desperate hope of keeping his own party members in line. (source)
