By Carole on Sep 18, 2010
In his last campaign ad, Pennsylvania's Democratic Congressman and US Senate candidate Joe Sestak tried to trick voters into believing he went right from his years of military service to his current campaign. He conveniently omitted his years in the US House of Representatives where he strongly supported Wall Street bailouts and the Obama agenda. In his latest ad he's at it again.

West Virginia's Manchin Whines Some More
By Carole on Sep 9, 2010
West Virginia Governor and US Senate candidate Joe Manchin (D) is fighting back against charges leveled by his Republican opponent that he would be nothing more than a rubber stamp for the unpopular Obama agenda. In his new ad, the governor did not deny the accusations nor claim he would stand up against the president's policies in keeping with the wishes of voters. Instead he took a page from the Obama playbook and simply whined that he is being picked on by a political opponent who dares to tell the truth.

But as Mr. Obama's popularity wanes even in his home state, the ad may do more harm than good in Mr. Giannoulias' neck-and-neck race against Congressman Mark Kirk (R-Illinois).
Manchin's Proxy Whine
By Carole on Sep 5, 2010
West Virginia Republican John Raese is gaining much more ground than expected in his US Senate race and has just come out with a hard hitting ad about his Democratic opponent's long record of supporting President Barack Obama's liberal agenda. But rather than try to defend himself on the issues, Governor Joe Manchin contacted the daughter of the late Senator Robert Byrd to tell her that a photo used in the ad was taken at her father's memorial service.
