Romney Already Talking VP Picks
By Carole on Jul 27, 2011
At a fundraiser yesterday, Former Massachusetts Governor and current contender for the GOP presidential nomination Mitt Romney said his short list for the Vice President is "[Virginia Governor Bob] McDonnell, Governor [Chris] Christie of New Jersey and [Senator] Marco Rubio of Florida." Obviously Mr. Romney is trying to boost the appeal of his candidacy with the many conservatives who find his record lacking, but this premature discussion of a running mate might have the opposite effect.
2009 Election Results: NOBAMA
By Carole on Nov 4, 2009
The message from the voters was clear as Republicans took the Governor's mansion in both Virginia and New Jersey; two states which only a year ago voted to put Barack Obama in the Oval Office. I don’t think we need it now." (source) In case there was any doubt, Senator Lieberman's statement guarantees that Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) will not have the votes he needs to get his health care reform bill passed.
