President Barack Obama recently tried to spin away from the results of his failed economic policies by claiming "there are always going to be bumps in the road to recovery." Seizing on this almost too easy opportunity to use the president's words against him, current GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney's team quickly produced an ad showing that unemployed and under-employed Americans are real people enduring real economic hardship not bumps in the road.
Obama Job Approval Hits Another New Low

According to Gallup, President Barack Obama's weekly job approval rating has dropped to a record low of just 43%. That's down one point from his previous record low set last week. The same survey also found 50% of Americans disapprove of Mr. Obama's job performance - another new record for his presidency. (source)
Why The Partisan Disconnect?

A new poll shows that 46% of Americans believe Democrats "care more about the needs of people like you" while just 39% say Republicans care more. But when asked which party can better help the people on specific issues as opposed to the general "who cares more" question, Republicans win hands down. So why the disconnect? Why are so many Americans clinging to a failed and destructive ideology when they themselves believe it's not working in their lives?

President Barack Obama's anticipated approval rating bounce after passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare) has gone bust. Already disappointing for the Obama machine was the smaller than expected size of the bounce, but even that has been washed away during the days since the bill was signed.

A new poll shows just 44% of registered voters approve of the job President Obama is doing. That's down from 46 % in December. (source) Evidently his strong rhetoric about not giving up on health care reform, cap & trade and even more deficit raising government spending is not sitting well with the American people.
