Last month White House communications director Anita Dunn tried to marginalize the Fox News Channel by claiming it was "not really a news station" and other Obama administration officials echoed the statement. Two months ago President Obama appeared on five of the six Sunday morning talk shows. The one he missed? Fox News Sunday. Late last week Ms. Dunn left her post as White House communications director and today Fox News White House Correspondent Major Garrett will interview the president in Beijing.

White House senior advisor David Axelrod appeared on ABC's This Week and echoed recent statements by White House communications director Anita Dunn claiming that the Fox News Channel is "not really a news station". (source) This latest strategy to minimize the only news outlet that reports objectively on President Obama and his policies will prove to be yet another bad decision on the part of this president.
