No Civilian Trials For 9/11 Terrorists?

White House advisers are reportedly ready to recommend a major policy reversal regarding the trial of admitted 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four of his accomplices. Instead of following Attorney General Eric Holder's plan to try the terrorists in a New York City civilian court, advisers are nearing a recommendation for President Barack Obama to choose a military trial. Have we really gone so far down the rabbit hole that we don't recognize Islamic terrorism when it literally shoots us in the face? In the aftermath of the Fort Hood attack, many seem perplexed over whether Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who witnesses say shouted "Allahu Akbar” before he opened fire on a room full of unarmed soldiers, was committing a terrorist act. Seriously?

While the radical left are contemplating whether or not pushing someone against a wall (under medical supervision of course) is considered torture and contemplating how much redress is appropriate for our captured enemy combatants, the Obama administration appears to be coming to the realization that terrorists might actually be bad.

President Obama has announced his decision to block the release of alleged "detainee abuse" photos. Last month he said he would not fight a court order to release them. That court order was the result of an ACLU lawsuit under the Freedom of Information Act and, needless to say, the ACLU is not happy with the President's decision. Um, his un-decision. Re-decision?
