In the final days of a long, grueling campaign things can get ugly. In President Barack Obama's current re-election campaign, things started out ugly and have devolved into a steaming pile of nationally embarrassing desperation. As our Candidate-in-Chief says whatever he can think of to save his own career, the latest and hopefully final example was his response to a crowd that booed at the mere mention of Governor Mitt Romney's name. "Voting is the best revenge," said the president.

After four years of broken promises, failed economic policies and a foreign policy in tatters; President Barack Obama has come up with a new and exciting idea to save his presidency: an exclamation point. According to a campaign spokeswoman, Team Obama has replaced the period at the end of "Forward" on placards and banners with an exclamation point that reflects "the stakes in this election and energy at our events."

President Barack Obama will hold his election-night rally indoors this year instead of trying to recreate 2008's Grant Park event. While sources cite weather and security as the reason for the change, it's more likely that, win or lose, a mostly full convention center will look better for Team Obama than a mostly empty outdoor venue.
