The Federal Trade Commission has issued an alert warning that unscrupulous individuals are using the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. Obamacare) to obtain personal financial information from consumers. According to the alert, these "scam artists want your information to commit identity theft, charge your existing credit cards, debit your checking account, open new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, write fraudulent checks, or take out loans in your name. " Shameful behavior for sure, but not all that different from that of the architects of the law itself.

The illegal scammers are trying to gather people's personal information so they can run up huge amounts of debt in their victims' names thereby destroying their credit rating and hopes for a prosperous future. Meanwhile the scammers currently running the federal government already have all the information they need to do the same to current and future generations of Americans.
The illegal scammers are enticing victims with the lie that President Barack Obama has created a new federal program that will pay their utility bills or provide them with an Obamacare medical card that will allow everyone in their family to get medical coverage for everything.
These specific lures are not included in the FTC alert. Maybe that's because they are eerily similar to the kinds of promises our Scammer-in-Chief has made and broken regarding Obamacare:
-
'If You Like Your Plan, You'll Be Able To Keep It'
'I Will Protect Medicare'
'This Law Will Lower Premiums'
'Slow The Growth Of Health Care Costs'
'Federal Conscience Laws Will Remain In Place'
'My Plan Won't Raise Your Taxes One Penny'
Mandate Not 'The Solution'
'Broadcasting Those Negotiations On C-SPAN'
'Will Not Sign It If It Adds One Dime To The Deficit'
Medical Liability Reform: 'This Is Going To Be A Priority For Me'
'Those Who Voted For Health Care Will Find It An Asset'
The FTC is telling potential victims of the illegal scammers to "hang up" and "file a complaint at ftc.gov or call 1-877-FTC-HELP."
Where's the toll free number to report the biggest Obamacare scam of them all - the multi-trillion dollar one perpetrated by President Obama and his Congressional accomplices?
