Yes he did. Right there on national television conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said President Barack Obama is a narcissist who is immature, inexperienced and in over his head. Appearing on Fox News Sunday Mr. Limbaugh said Mr. Obama "really has no experience running anything. He's very young. I think he's got an out-of-this-world ego. He's very narcissistic." (source)

There has been plenty of talk about next week's gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia; how victory by either or both of the Republican candidates would be a rejection of the Obama administration and its policies. But there's also a special election in New York Congressional District 23 being held on Tuesday that may send that same message even if the Democrat wins.

Though not as much of a shocker as the race in New Jersey, Virginia's gubernatorial election looks like it will be another high-profile defeat for Democrats and the Obama administration. A victory by Republican Bob McDonnell, who has a huge lead in the latest polls, is going to strike fear in the hearts of any Democrat up for re-election in 2010.
Obama Asks New York Governor To Step Aside

President Obama has sent a request to New York Governor David Paterson (D) that he withdraw from the New York governor’s race. (source) With Paterson's approval rating hovering around 30% and strong speculation that the very popular former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will enter the gubernatorial race on the Republican side, it's not surprising that the president would be concerned. But to directly request that Paterson step aside? That's more than concern. That's fear.
