GOProud's $50,000 ad buy on Lifetime and Bravo - two cable channels with strong LGBT audiences - will include additional spots against Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California) as well as a commercial in support of Representative Charles Djou (R-Hawaii) who was one of five House Republicans who voted to repeal the military's 'don't ask, don't tell' policy. After two years of single-party rule by President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats, many segments of the electorate whose votes have been taken for granted by that party are growing tired of platitudes and false promises.
"It's not just the contempt and arrogance from Washington Democrats - it's the total failure of their policies,' says Mr. LaSalvia.”On election night in 2006, Speaker Pelosi crowed about how voters had voted for change by electing Democrats and now we see what that 'change' has brought us - out of control debt, runaway spending, and the loss of millions of jobs."
