The buzz over the latest ad in the Nevada senate race centers on how current majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) lives in a luxury apartment at the Ritz Carlton in Washington. But there is much more to the message than the catchy line, "Harry lives at the Ritz Carlton while thousands are losing their homes."

What shouldn't be lost among the ritzy lifestyle jabs are the hard cold facts about Senator Reid's tenure as majority leader:

• 137,626 more Nevadans are unemployed since Senator Reid took control and Nevada leads the nation in unemployment
  
  
• Under his watch almost $5 trillion has been added to our debt
  
  
• He has voted 300 times in favor of higher taxes
  
  

Had he not been instrumental in pushing through the obscenely expensive job-killing Obama agenda, it's doubtful Nevada voters would care where he is living. The real problem is Senator Reid's job performance proves he doesn't care how those he was elected to serve are living.
