After Representative Steve Driehaus (D-Ohio) voted for the Obama agenda at every turn, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has pulled their resources from the freshman Congressman's campaign saving its cash for the precious few seats it has a chance to hold. So Mr. Dreihaus has put out his own low cost web video claiming he was abandoned by the Democratic Party because he supported the Democratic Party.

So what's the message to the voters here? That Representative Driehaus voted for virtually every bill pushed by the Obama/Reid/Pelosi triad including the non-stimulating stimulus, Obamacare and Wall Street reform but has now been thrown under the bus by his own party? That in these difficult economic times, which his own votes helped to create, people should send him their hard earned money so he can win the chance to make more decisions that will negatively impact their lives?

"I've had the guts to stand up for you," Representative Dreihaus proudly claims in his video. Evidently he's hoping 'gutsy' catches on as a euphemism for 'just another Obama rubber stamp' who was foolish enough to allow himself to be used and then discarded by his own party leadership.
