Republicans Up By 10 In Generic Ballot
By Carole on Aug 31, 2010
The electoral tidal wave heading for Democrats in November is growing more powerful by the day. The latest bad news for Team Obama/Reid/Pelosi comes from Gallup in the form of its weekly generic ballot. Among registered voters, Republicans lead Democrats by 10 points (51% - 41%); the largest margin in Gallup's history of tracking the midterm generic ballot for Congress. Crist Flip Flops Yet Again
By Carole on Aug 29, 2010
Florida Governor and US Senate candidate Charlie Crist is getting so good at changing positions on an issue, he can now do it within the same televised interview. Mr. Crist's first response: "we'll give it back to people who had asked for it." But just a moment later he said, "People gave money to a good cause, I'm going to spend it on a good cause and that's how I feel about it." (source)

The heated debate over building an Islamic Center near Ground Zero may be more inspiring than economic policies. But this week's GOP radio address delivered by Florida's Republican candidate for US Senate Marco Rubio is definitely worth our attention.
Even Crist Doesn't Know Where Crist Stands
By Carole on Aug 27, 2010
Florida Governor and US Senate candidate Charlie Crist is finding it more and more difficult to keep his fluctuating positions on the issues straight. While still a Republican he strongly supported the disastrous Obama Stimulus. Once he was assured a loss in the GOP primary he decided to abandon his party but kept its donors' cash. And now amid falling poll numbers, his go-along-to-get-along positions are starting to confuse even him.
