Is Big Bad Blue California Turning Red?

If the midterm elections were held today, Republican Meg Whitman would be the next Governor of California and Republican Carly Fiorina would be the state's next senator. According to a new CBS poll, Ms. Fiorina leads incumbent Senator Barbara Boxer (D-California) by a slim but measurable two point margin and Ms. Whitman's lead over State Attorney General Jerry Brown (D) has grown to seven points with 46% of likely voters supporting her and only 39% supporting Mr. Brown.
