Here Comes Obama's Chicago Network

The Republican National Committee just launched a new web video designed quite effectively to look like a television network promo and designed even more effectively to illustrate how President Barack Obama's administration has fallen very short of his lofty campaign promises. Titled Obama's Chicago Network, the video previews the summer lineup of "shows" including Dancing With The Law, The Colorado Hills, Job Or No Job and I'm A Politician Get Me Out Of Here. And just before you fool yourself into thinking it's all just a silly joke, the tagline reminds us all "It's not TV, it's reality."

In a statement upon release of the video RNC Chairman Michael Steele said, "When Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States, he promised to usher in a new era of unparalleled transparency and open government in Washington. Rather than putting a stop to 'business-as-usual', this White House has proved more than willing to employ disreputable, backroom, Chicago-style politics in order to further their own political goals." Mr. Steele's staement may not be as amusing as the video, but it's just as true and unfortunately for the American people, it is reality.
