Dems Tell A Whopper In PA-12 Campaign Ad
By Carole on Apr 30, 2010
While some try to rehabilitate the corruption laden reputation of the late Congressman John Murtha (D-Pennsylvania) by naming a Navy ship in his honor, voters in his district are poised to rehabilitate their representation in Washington. The latest poll shows Republican businessman Tim Burns leading his Democratic challenger in the May 18 special election former Murtha aide Mark Critz 46% to 40%. Yes, the same Joe Lieberman who was dumped by the Democratic Party and who then defeated their anti-war candidate as an Independent. The same Joe Lieberman Senator Reid said double crossed him on health care reform just weeks ago. That Joe Lieberman will be trading on his own good name and reputation to help one of President Obama's chief henchmen dip into the deep pockets of Connecticut’s elite. (source)

Competing with him for the right to face presumptive Republican nominee Pat Toomey in November is US Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania), a former three-star Navy admiral who had a stellar 31 year military career before entering politics. So what is Senator Specter's latest campaign strategy against his fellow Democrat? Attack his military record.
