Why The Democrats Are Imploding

Since the Massachusetts Miracle there have been a lot of Democrats and supporters of Democrats accusing each other of being responsible for their loss. The national importance of this particular election due to the corresponding loss of the Democrats' super majority has made the internal blame game even bigger, louder and longer than usual. But the reason for the so-called circular firing squad has its roots in the policies and long-standing practices of the Democratic Party. Specifically:

When Democrats win elections they do it, not with the right message, but with the right re-packaging. Presenting truths like "We're going to tax you more and then spend your money on our pet projects, corrupt enterprises and kickbacks to our supporters instead of on things you want or need" will not win many votes. Following that up with more truths like "Then we're going to weaken the nation's standing in the world and make you less safe from those who are trying to kill us" doesn't please a crowd either. And certainly the "We're going to over regulate, over tax and generally punish businesses so they will layoff as many workers as possible and create no new jobs" message won't foster a sense of confidence in any candidate.
So what do the Democrats and their accomplices do? They re-package those unpopular messages into a laundry list of promises they know they have no ability to keep. Then they add in a few platitudes, throw some mud at their opponents and voila! A Democrat's campaign is born.
Occasionally they can bamboozle enough Americans to win. But when they don't win, that's when the guilty party is not necessarily the candidate. Responsibility for the loss belongs to whoever re-packaged those positions in an attempt to make them appetizing enough to get past the voters' natural gag reflex and that job no longer belongs to the candidate alone. Currently there are many people in this country who are desperately trying to re-package the unpalatable Democratic Party message (tax and spend, weak foreign policy, weaker on terrorism, job killing policies, etc). So not only is the candidate and his or her campaign management re-packaging, so is the DNC, the White House, the complicit mainstream media, the far-left bloggers, Hollywood, the union chiefs, special interest groups, Air America (oh wait, they just went under), paid strategists, paid consultants, virtually all university employees, community organizers and any leftover 1960's radicals who never grew up.
With all those people re-packaging the candidate's message in their own unique way, it's no wonder that when the candidate loses it's difficult to tell which re-package did the most harm; which fantastic narrative had one loose thread that, when pulled, exposed the radical, corrupt and wholly unpopular truths? Chances are there was more than one inept re-package job done in Massachusetts over the past few months and all of them probably deserve some of the blame. But in typical Democrat fashion, they prefer to divert attention from their own distortions and outright lies by pointing and shouting at other distorters and liars. Thus the members of the circular firing squad take not so careful aim and fire.
