After spending the past year pushing his fellow Democrats in Congress to pass his idea of health care reform...After months of arm twisting and bribing the last reluctant Democrats in the Senate to vote yes for Obamacare...After weeks of behind closed door meetings with House and Senate leaders trying to craft something/anything that would give him a legislative win on his top domestic priority...Just days after he told the audience at a Martha Coakley rally, "If you were fired up in the last election I need you more fired up in this election." President Barack Obama is telling other Democrats not to "jam" a health care overhaul bill through Congress.

In an interview with ABC News Mr. Obama said Wednesday that Congress must wait for newly elected Massachusetts Republican Scott Brown to be sworn into office before lawmakers move forward (source) and while that might seem like a reasonable and welcomed change of course after Mr. Brown's victory on Tuesday, it's obviously been crafted to make it look as if it was "Congress" who has been doing all the jamming.
This president continues to insult the intelligence of the American people. His "you'll thank me later" attitude as he pushed this unpopular piece of legislation closer and closer to passage has suddenly morphed into "Hey, they're the ones pushing. I'm trying to stop them for you" lies.
If he truly wants to change course on health care reform as a result of the Massachusetts Miracle, that would be a welcome change. But he should have the integrity to say that is what he is doing instead of implying that others had charted the old course.
