Obama Job Approval At A Lower All Time Low

Yesterday's Gallup poll showed President Obama's job approval rating had dropped to 47% - the lowest of any president dating back to Truman at this stage of his presidency. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs responded by saying, “I don’t put a lot of stake in, never have, in the EKG that is the daily Gallup trend. I don’t pay a lot of attention to the meaninglessness of it.” (source)

Unfortunately for him, the "shoot the messenger" plan of attack doesn't work when on this very next day the latest Quinnipiac poll shows the president's job approval rating at an even lower new low: 46%. (source)
Speaking of polls, another one conducted by Quinnipiac University found that only 26% of Americans believe Mr. Obama deserves the Nobel Peace Prize he's about to accept. (source) He's jetting off to Norway tonight to pick up the award and perhaps in his speech there he'll finally let us know what the Nobel Committee referred to as “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".
One can only imagine what Mr. Gibbs' response will be to the polls after that.
