Gallup: Obama Approval Rating Dips Below 50%

As his cronies in the Senate keep scrambling to push Obamacare through the next legislative hurdle, there's further proof that the American people just aren't buying what President Obama keeps trying to sell. Gallup Daily tracking from Nov. 17-19 shows President Barack Obama’s job approval slipping to 49% for the first time in his presidency. (source) Why the dip? Take your pick of reasons:

- The Obama administration's recent decision to try admitted 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four of his accomplices in a civilian court.
- The Commander-In-Chief's continued inability to make a decision regarding the increase in troops to be sent to Afghanistan.
- The president's useless trip to Asia that produced no positive results with regard to US interests but did produce a photo of Mr. Obama bowing deeply before a foreign leader. (image)
- The aforementioned scrambling of the president's cronies in the Senate to continue to push an unpopular legislative agenda.
The Gallup poll comes on the heels of Wednesday's release of a Quinnipiac poll showing Mr. Obama's job approval rate at 48% (source) and the Rasmussen tracking poll for Friday shows that only 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. (source)
