Obama Faces Real Questions

The results of the presidential interview with Fox News Channel's Major Garrett are starting to leak out. The first detail: President Barack Obama says he's worried that spending too much money could throw the economy into a double-dip recession. (source It's unknown exactly what question prompted Mr. Obama to go beyond his usual promises and platitudes and actually give an answer, but it's an encouraging sign that the entire interview might be more informative than the president's usual rambling responses to softball questions.

The interview also included a question (and presumably an answer) regarding the currently stalled free trade pact with South Korea. President Obama is due to meet with South Korean officials on Thursday.
Considering the interview with Fox's White House correspondent was scheduled to last just 10 minutes (source) and knowing how well this president avoids giving sustentative answers, what we already know shows Mr. Garrett did his job very well.
The interview will be broadcast Wednesday on Fox News Channel's "Special Report with Bret Baier."
