Obama's Timing Is Everything

They say timing is everything and there's some interesting timing going on in the Obama administration. The president has had 11 months to decide what to do with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the admitted mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. So why was the decision to try him and four alleged accomplices in a civilian court announced at the beginning of Mr. Obama's 8 day trip to Asia? Does he think we'll forget what Congressman Peter King (R-New York) called "One of the worst decisions any president has ever made" if he just stays overseas for a week?
Continued...
While staying overseas may protect the president from the outcry against his decision, it didn't stop him from posting a video message on the Internet today urging Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage. (source) Did he really need to post his wishes on the Internet to get a message to Congress? Of course not. This message was meant to hide the truth that far left political correctness enabled the Islamic terrorist who killed 13 people on a Texas army post. Does he think if he can just delay the investigation we'll forget that this was the worst terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11 and that it happened on President Obama's watch?
Then there's the ongoing delay of a decision on Afghanistan. While the president travels through Asia accomplishing nothing, American soldiers remain in harm's way while their Commander-in-Chief avoids deciding whether or not to send the additional troops and resources his hand-picked general has requested.
How many more Islamic terrorists will be protected and how many more Americans will die while Barack Obama keeps working on his timing?
