9/11 Attacks Just Another Episode Of Law & Order?

While President Obama hides in Asia from the outcry at home, Attorney General Eric Holder announced that the Department of Justice will pursue prosecution in federal court of the five individuals accused of conspiring to commit the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Holder called the attacks "extraordinary crimes" and said he is "confident in the ability of our courts to provide these defendants a fair trial".

News Flash for the Attorney General: These were not crimes, they were acts of war. The conspirators are not defendants they are terrorists. And the last thing the American people want to provide them with is a fair trial.
Mr. Holder went on to say that the 3,000 victims’ families and friends deserve the opportunity to see those plotters of those attacks held accountable in open court. But that's not what they want. "The only thing they are going to do is give them a stage to mock us...and this makes me sick to my stomach," said Tim Brown, a former New York City firefighter and founder of Thebravest.com, a group that is petitioning the administration not to bring terrorists to civilian courts. And that's not even the worst possibility. When asked after his announcement this morning what would happen if the "defendants" were acquitted due to some legal technicality, Attorney General Holder would only say that he was confident the outcomes in these cases would be successful. With all the potential issues in this type of trial - evidentiary rules, discovery versus national security, piles of potential motions from the defense, etc. how can anyone be that confident? Either it is a show trial and our rule of law in this country now means nothing or these "defendants" must be considered innocent until proven guilty, given all the rights available to anyone else under the law and could conceivably be acquitted in court after years of litigation.
And there's nowhere on earth where President Obama can hide from that.
