Corzine Reveals Another Big Christie Secret

In the latest desperate move by the Corzine campaign (being run by Team Obama), the incumbent governor is running an ad accusing his Republican challenger, conservative Chris Christie, of being (gasp!) a conservative! The ad states that Mr. Christie "doesn't share our values." (source) If by "our values" they mean the tax raising, high spending, deficit exploding, dollar dropping, internationally weakening, military ignoring values of the Obama/Corzine machine, then this could be the second honest statement the Corzine campaign has made in the past year (the first being that the 300+ pound Mr. Christie is overweight).
Continued...
For at least the past month, every Corzine TV ad is being screened by the president's team. Corzine aides are giving daily briefings to the White House. Mr. Obama's pollsters have taken over for Mr. Corzine's polling team, and White House operatives are on the ground for everything from internal strategy sessions to obscure pep rallies with Latino supporters. (source) Is it any wonder then that the latest Corzine ads have little if anything to do with New Jersey?
As with everything else on the face of the earth, President Barack Obama has made this campaign and this election about President Barack Obama. In addition to the not-so-behind-the-scenes campaigning, he has made numerous joint appearances with Governor Corzine and will make two more this weekend, just days before the election. He knows that a Republican victory in the very blue Garden State will be a rejection of his policies and will make it much more difficult to get other Democrats up for re-election in 2010 to support his far left agenda.
So rather than offer solutions to New Jersey's problems, the Corzine campaign is spending its last week rehashing the liberal vs. conservative debate. Fortunately for Mr. Christie that debate has already been won on a national level with 40% of Americans describing their political view as conservative compared to 36% who consider their views moderate and just 20% describing their views as liberal. (source) Although New Jersey's residents may be a little more liberal than most other states', they aren't foolish enough to fall for the Obama con twice in one year.
