A grassroots movement of physicians will be protesting Obamacare in Washington DC today but you probably won't hear much about it from the liberal media. Doctors and their supporters will meet at John Marshall Park for a press conference and discussion. The group will then march to Upper Senate Park where individual doctors will be meeting with their legislatures to voice their disapproval of the current health care bills in Congress. (source)

Will there actually be a million doctors marching? I highly doubt it. But that Million Something March has been used effectively in the past to label liberal protest movements and has garnered those groups much media attention. This group? Not so much. What these medical professionals are doing is in direct conflict with the lies the Obama administration and liberals in Congress have been telling - that doctors, nurses, etc. are on board with Obamacare. The group Docs4PatientCare, who will be participating in today's march, have gone so far as to publish their own "Proposed Alternatives for Effective Health Care Reform" including such common sense ideas as:

• There is no logical reason to hastily pass this legislation by a predetermined deadline. We have one chance to get this right.
  
  

• Adopt a patient-centered approach to healthcare reform that empowers patients and promotes freedom of choice.
  
  

• Use the power of government to assist the uninsured obtain health coverage through modification of the tax code, such as tax credits and vouchers.
  
  

• Insurance Reform. Guarantee insurability due to pre-existing illness. Eliminate Insurance company antitrust exemption.

Of course President Obama won't be around to listen to what these doctors have to say. He's got much more important things to do today such as giving the oppressive regime of Iran another chance to humiliate him with their lies and then jetting off to Denmark to make an Olympic plea on behalf of his corrupt hometown. But hey, what do a bunch of doctors know about health care anyway, right?
